wevra is a Bristol‑based studio making art from small details in the landscape: rock faces, lichen, worn paths and tide lines. The bits you'd normally walk past until you notice the pattern – and then can't unsee it.
Founded by Thomas, wevra grew out of climbing days, country walks and a habit of zooming in on texture. Those little scraps of outdoor detail become calm, graphic pieces for your home.
Fine‑art giclée prints on 315gsm cold‑press paper. The surface has a soft, slightly toothy feel that's close to original watercolour. Matte, textured and glare‑free, ready to frame.
Canvases stretched on deep 38mm bars, finished with float frames that leave a slim shadow gap around the artwork. Clean lines, no fuss – they arrive ready to hang.
Throws woven by Jacquard specialists so the design runs through the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. Use them as blankets, wall hangings or folded over the end of the bed.
Everything is made to order. Prints and canvases are produced in the UK, while our throws are Jacquard‑woven by specialists before they're shipped to you.
No dusty stockrooms, no boxes of unwanted posters – just pieces made when someone actually wants them. It takes a little longer, but it keeps waste low and quality high.
We're not here to overhaul your whole interior. We'd rather help you anchor a corner of it.
A print above the desk, a canvas in the hallway, a blanket at the end of the bed – wevra is about bringing a quiet scrap of the outdoors in. Nothing too precious, nothing too serious. Just textured art for everyday rooms.
Many of our textures come from the West Country: cliffs near the coast, paths around the Avon Gorge, damp stone, patches of moss on walls, rusted railings and other small, overlooked corners.
We photograph and sketch these details, then crop, collage and simplify them until they feel calm enough to live with every day. The landscape stays at the heart of the work, even when the shapes become abstract.
Each piece starts outside. Texture is spotted, photographed or sketched on walks and climbing days. Back in the studio, those scraps are cut up, rearranged and layered into digital collages.
Colour palettes are tuned carefully so they feel grounded rather than loud. Once a piece feels right, it's proofed with our printing and weaving partners, then added to the collection.
nook is our quiet art guide. nook lives inside the Curator on the site and is there to help you find your way through the collection.
Rather than talking about algorithms, we've taught nook to focus on rooms, light and feelings. Tell nook about a blank wall, a restless bedroom or a corner you'd like to soften, and nook will suggest pieces that might suit – with the same calm tone you'll find everywhere else at wevra.
In shape, colour and language. The work should feel easy to live with.
Everything is made to order to avoid over‑printing and wasted stock.
We keep starting from real places, real textures and the weathered edges of the landscape.
